The Art of Personal History, Tips for Creating Your Own Illustrated Family History Book 

Join Lisa Kagan, featured contributor of My Words Are Gonna Linger, The Art of Personal History, as she shares her own process in uncovering her family history and creating an illustrated family history book. She will offer tips for getting started in creating your own illustrated family history book. Using genealogical research as a foundation for their projects, participants will explore how to uncover hidden family treasures, conduct interviews, write and illustrate their book. Personal history projects are a wonderful way to preserve your family stories, honor your ancestors, deepen your understanding of your relationship with your own life, and share the wisdom and experiences of the past with future generations.
